After much consideration, Summer School will be cancelled for this year due to low enrollment and the high costs associated with it. Your student may opt to go to other local summer school programs if you deem it necessary for them to complete lost credits during the summer.
However, starting at Britton High School this fall, is the “Choices” credit recovery program which is an after school virtual option for high school students wishing to recover lost credits. This works like summer school, only it is offered after school during the regular school year. There will be staff available to assist your student to overcome deficit skill sets during their time with Choices. Students work at their own pace for completion of credits. This will be free to all students who would normally take summer school.
